Female frigidity refers to a low libido or sex drive in women. A deficiency of sexual desire may be psychologically rooted in the subconscious part of a person and linked to larger issues that must be discussed or spoken. In some cases, women face difficulty being provoked or sex may cause considerable discomfort or pain. In others, women refuse sexual intimacy, experience low libido or may bear it without being able to achieve orgasm, just by finding a little pleasure in it.

Frigidity Symptoms:

• The woman enjoys coitus, but does not achieve her orgasm.
• The female may carry a positive dislike for sexual activity and her body may freeze at the chance of having it.
• The woman may be unconcerned to sexual activity and may indulge in it thinking it as a piece of her obligation. She has no dislike for it either, but she does not love it.

Frigidity in women may be due to various causes – some are physical and some psychological. In fact, male unawareness about the subtle art of foreplay generally makes a woman frigid. If the frigidity is due to physical deficiency, women can expect some cure. However, if it is psychic or due to the mind, she needs a psychiatrist to treat it.
